The Knolls, San Marcos

Located on a hill in San Marcos, this Mission colonial revival style project has 62 affordable rental units for families. There are 23, two-bedroom, 17, three-bedroom and 22, four-bedroom units. Amenities include a community room with kitchen, two tot-lots, three areas with picnic tables and barbecues, a swimming pool. One very unique amenity is the natural landscaped knoll area. This area is for passive uses and has a low-key path system for strolling. The project was funded by the San Marcos Redevelopment Agency and California Tax Credit Allocation Program.
