A grant from the City of Santa Ana enabled OHDC to purchase and rehabilitate this existing 84-unit complex. Forty-one (41) of the these units are rent-restricted to low-income families. Amenities include a swimming pool, play area, subterranean parking and laundry rooms. For over five years, community health workers from the Latino Health Access organization have conducted various health and wellness programs at the Garden Court Apartments. Residents have access to health education, academic planning and other services for the medically uninsured. Classes have been given in parenting , domestic violence, osteoporosis health, and asthma self-management.
